CSI: Nonconformity

There's always a corn kernel that refuses to comply with conventional practices or patterns of behaviour.

  1. Oh, very clever, Martha! I like your attitude towards unpopped kernels rather than the traditional term for them -- "old maids."

    1. There'll be none of that here, Debra. No old maid stuff. This is a nonconformist kernel. :)

  2. Martha, while I have been a strong believer in nonconformity, all my life I have despised the kernels that refused to pop like all the other kernels did when I made popcorn. I now realize how intolerant I was and will view unpopped kernels in a totally new light. Thank you so much for expanding my horizons.

    1. Hahaha! Well, I have to confess that I felt the same way about kernels that refused to pop. I have grown over the years :)

    1. And you are right about how it came about. I don't even have to ask what it is!
